Population structure indicators at national level

In 1996, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.6% compared to 1995, reaching 25.3.

Portugal ranks 8th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.7% (from 23.5 in 1991).
