Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2010, Portugal's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 1.7% compared to 2009, reaching 11.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.1%.

Portugal ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.6% (from 11.6% in 2005).
