Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2010, Portugal's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 6.2% compared to 2009, reaching 15.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

Portugal ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.1% (from 12.8% in 2005).
