Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2020, Portugal's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.2% compared to 2019, reaching 27.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.8%.

Portugal ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.1% (from 22.9% in 2015).
