Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2007, Portugal's employment rates by educational attainment level decreased by 0.5% compared to 2006, reaching 86.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 84.6%.

Portugal ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.2% (from 89.8% in 2002).
