In 2025, Portugal's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households without dependent children by work intensity increased by 0.2% compared to 2024, reaching 55.2.

Portugal accounts for 91.7% of the EU-27 total of 60.2.

Portugal ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.7% (from 52.2 in 2020).
