Level of internet access - households

In 2024, Portugal's level of internet access increased by 1.8% compared to 2023, reaching 90.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 94.2%.

Portugal ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.9% (from 80.9% in 2019).
