Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2022, Romania's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 21.6% compared to 2021, reaching 6.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.2%.

Romania ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.6% (from 6.1% in 2017).
