Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2006, Romania's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 0.8% compared to 2005, reaching 12.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.4%.

Romania ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.2% (from 11.4% in 2001).
