Population structure indicators at national level

In 1996, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.6% compared to 1995, reaching 34.2.

Romania ranks 22nd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.3% (from 32.8 in 1991).
