Population structure indicators at national level

In 1987, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 2.4% compared to 1986, reaching 17.1.

Romania ranks 22nd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.9% (from 17.8 in 1982).
