Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2007, Romania's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 1.0% compared to 2006, reaching 10.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.7%.

Romania ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.2% (from 11.1% in 2002).
