Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2024, Romania's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 6.4% compared to 2023, reaching 11.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.0%.

Romania ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.5% (from 11.3% in 2019).
