Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2021, Romania's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 0.7% compared to 2020, reaching 27.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.0%.

Romania ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.4% (from 27.0% in 2016).
