At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 15.9% compared to 2024, reaching 12.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.3%.

Slovakia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.0% (from 11.4% in 2020).
