At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.3% compared to 2022, reaching 22.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.5%.

Slovakia ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.2% (from 20.5% in 2018).
