At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 25.6% compared to 2021, reaching 22.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.4%.

Slovakia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.1% (from 19.9% in 2017).
