At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 12.4% compared to 2023, reaching 19.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.3%.

Slovakia ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.2% (from 19.0% in 2019).
