At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 28.7% compared to 2009, reaching 7.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.3%.

Slovakia ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.5% (from 7.1% in 2005).
