At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.4% compared to 2009, reaching 12.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

Slovakia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.6% (from 13.5% in 2005).
