In 2014, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.8% compared to 2013, reaching 12.7%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.8%.
Slovakia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 25.7% (from 10.1% in 2009).
