In 2021, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 30.0% compared to 2020, reaching 9,799.

Slovakia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 55.7% (from 22,130 in 2016).
