In 2021, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 16.1% compared to 2020, reaching 72.

Slovakia ranks 22nd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 70.4% (from 243 in 2016).
