Employment rates by citizenship

In 2009, Slovakia's employment rates by citizenship decreased by 3.4% compared to 2008, reaching 67.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 69.9%.

Slovakia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.5% (from 62.9% in 2004).
