Employment rates by citizenship

In 2021, Slovakia's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.0% compared to 2020, reaching 73.3%.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 73.3%.

Slovakia ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.7% (from 71.4% in 2016).
