In 2018, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 16.3% compared to 2017, reaching 67.

Slovakia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.1% (from 78 in 2013).
