In 2017, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 33.3% compared to 2016, reaching 80.

Slovakia ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.7% (from 75 in 2012).
