Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1981, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.1% compared to 1980, reaching 66.8.

Slovakia ranks 14th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.3% (from 67.0 in 1976).
