Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1984, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.3% compared to 1983, reaching 66.9.

Slovakia ranks 14th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.4% (from 67.2 in 1979).
