Population structure indicators at national level

In 2003, Slovakia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.9% compared to 2002, reaching 34.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.0.

Slovakia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.2% (from 33.3 in 1998).
