Population structure indicators at national level

In 2002, Slovakia's population structure indicators at national level decreased by 1.1% compared to 2001, reaching 18.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 26.3.

Slovakia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.6% (from 19.0 in 1997).
