In 2025, Slovakia's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.9% compared to 2024, reaching 36.6%.

Slovakia ranks 7th out of 7 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.4% (from 34.4% in 2020).
