At-risk-of poverty rate for children (aged less than 18) by sex

In 2010, Slovakia's at-risk-of poverty rate for children (aged less than 18) by sex increased by 11.9% compared to 2009, reaching 56.4.

Slovakia accounts for 89.1% of the EU-27 total of 63.3.

Slovakia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.5% (from 56.7 in 2005).
