Inequality of income distribution

In 2024, Slovakia's inequality of income distribution decreased by 9.6% compared to 2023, reaching 6.56.

Slovakia accounts for 70.4% of the EU-27 total of 9.32.

Slovakia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.8% (from 6.68 in 2019).
