Inequality of income distribution

In 2025, Slovakia's inequality of income distribution decreased by 0.3% compared to 2024, reaching 6.54.

Slovakia accounts for 70.8% of the EU-27 total of 9.24.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.9% (from 6.06 in 2020).
