In 2020, Slovakia's share of total population living in a dwelling with a leaking roof, damp walls, floors or foundation, or rot in window frames of floor decreased by 14.0% compared to 2019, reaching 4.90.

Slovakia accounts for 33.1% of the EU-27 total of 14.8.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 22.2% (from 6.30 in 2015).
