In 2019, Slovakia's share of total population living in a dwelling with a leaking roof, damp walls, floors or foundation, or rot in window frames of floor increased by 11.8% compared to 2018, reaching 5.70.

Slovakia accounts for 44.9% of the EU-27 total of 12.7.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 18.6% (from 7.00 in 2014).
