In 2024, Slovakia's net occupancy rate of bed-places and bedrooms in hotels and similar accommodation (NACE rev. 2, i, 55.1) (from 2012 onwards) increased by 1.3% compared to 2023, reaching 34.1.

Slovakia accounts for 69.0% of the EU-27 total of 49.4.

Slovakia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.8% (from 36.2 in 2019).
