In 2023, Slovakia's net occupancy rate of bed-places and bedrooms in hotels and similar accommodation (NACE rev. 2, i, 55.1) (from 2012 onwards) increased by 5.7% compared to 2022, reaching 33.6.

Slovakia accounts for 68.3% of the EU-27 total of 49.2.

Slovakia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.8% (from 34.2 in 2018).
