In 2016, Slovenia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.8% compared to 2015, reaching 12.5%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.8%.
Slovenia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.5% (from 12.2% in 2011).
