In 2021, Slovenia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 24.8% compared to 2020, reaching 167.

Slovenia ranks 19th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 38.8% (from 273 in 2016).
