At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2009, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.0% compared to 2008, reaching 20.4%.

Spain ranks 4th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 20.1% in 2004).
