At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.5% compared to 2009, reaching 20.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.5%.

Spain ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.0% (from 20.1% in 2005).
