At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2011, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.5% compared to 2010, reaching 20.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Spain ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 20.3% in 2006).
