At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2011, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 6.1% compared to 2010, reaching 27.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Spain ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 27.1% in 2006).
