At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2017, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.7% compared to 2016, reaching 28.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.0%.

Spain ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.4% (from 27.9% in 2012).
