At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2009, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 6.7% compared to 2008, reaching 23.8%.

Spain ranks 6th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 20.1% (from 29.8% in 2004).
