At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2013, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.8% compared to 2012, reaching 19.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.3%.

Spain ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.1% (from 21.2% in 2008).
