At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2006, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.5% compared to 2005, reaching 18.8%.

Spain ranks 5th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.6% (from 17.0% in 2001).
