Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2014, Spain's population change increased by 1.1% compared to 2013, reaching 9.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.9.

Spain ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 13.2% (from 10.6 in 2009).
